Some posts on Bridget’s Bloom Zone contain affiliate links. This page explains what that means, which programs I participate in, and how it affects my recommendations.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a product or service. If you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether or not you use my link.
Which affiliate programs do I participate in?
I am a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
I also work with other affiliate networks including Wayfair and ShareASale, where relevant products are recommended within my content.
How does this affect my recommendations?
It doesn’t. Every product I link to is something I would genuinely recommend based on my professional judgment as a trained architect. I do not accept payment to feature specific products, and commission rates do not influence which products I choose to recommend.
If I wouldn’t specify it in a real renovation project, I won’t link to it here.
How will I know when a link is an affiliate link?
Affiliate links within my posts are marked with (affiliate link) or (paid link) directly next to the link. Posts containing affiliate links also include a note at the top of the article.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
